Paulistão A2 returns this Tuesday. See the predictions of the 5th round

After 40 days of stoppage, the second division has a marathon scheduled for the dispute of the next three rounds.

Finally, the Paulista Football Federation and the participating clubs in the Serie A2 of Paulistão reached an agreement for the return of the competition. In addition to stricter protocols for Covid-19 testing, all matches will be played after 8 pm, which will take some teams out of their stadiums.

Rio Claro, Água Santa, Monte Azul and Juventus will look for other places to send their games, since their stadiums have no lighting. The request of the clubs to end the competition in May, will force the dispute of a marathon of games to finish the classification phase, there are eleven matches left, and the final phase, will be four games until the definition of the two teams that go up to the A1 and two more games in the title decision.

By planning the table, we have 16 games in the next 40 days, an average of one game every 2.5 days. Let there be breath and cast for the teams!

Check out a brief analysis of this Tuesday's games: 8 pm

Juventus v Taubaté

Stadium: Ulrico Mursa

The "Moleque Travesso" received a heavy blow when he left Rua Javari. Now the Mooca´s team will need to maintain their good performance at the Ulrico Mursa Stadium in Santos, against Taubaté, who took advantage of the stoppage to reformulate the team and try to improve their performance, after all, “Burro da Central” has only one point and is in the fight against relegation.

Sérgio Soares remains in charge of Juventus, while Marcelo Martelotte returned to Taubaté in the place of Toninho Cecílio and I think that this presence changes the form of the visitors' game a lot. I like the under goals market!

Mathematical Chances

Juventus 45% | Draw 33% | Taubaté 22%

EC São Bernardo x Monte Azul

Stadium: Joaquinzão

Due to a problem in the reflectors of the Estádio Primeiro de Maio, EC São Bernardo will have to send the game against Monte Azul in Taubaté.

The "Cachorrão" lost the four matches he played and did not score any goals. Despite this, coach Renato Peixe was kept.

Monte Azul has had a reasonable campaign so far, but also has offensive problems. The team's three goals were all in the game against Sertãozinho, their only victory in the competition.

I see balance and good to remember that EC São Bernardo faced very complicated teams in the first four rounds: the three leaders and their great rival.

Mathematical chances:

EC São Bernardo 37% | Draw 33% | Monte Azul 30%

Rio Claro x Velo Clube

Stadium: Toca do Leão

For the first time in history, rivals make a classic out of town and both arrive excited.

Rio Claro is better positioned and thrashed Red Bull Brasil before the stoppage, while Velo breathed with the victory over Osasco Audax, the first of the team, in the last match before the stoppage.

Mathematical Chances

Rio Claro 38% | Draw 34% | Fleece Club 28%

Atibaia x Portuguesa Santista

Stadium: Martins Pereira

Atibayern was not satisfied with the team's performance under Carlão, despite being undefeated and in eighth place. With that, Falcão sought Alex Alves, a coach who spent a long time at Juventus and had a bad experience in Paraná football.

Right behind in the standings, Briosa trusts Axel's work to surprise Atibaia.

The game will be played in São José dos Campos

Mathematical Chances

Atibaia 35% | Draw 33% | Portuguese Santista 32%

Portuguesa x São Bernardo FC

Stadium: Canindé

Big disappointment from the first rounds of Paulistão, Lusa used this period of stoppage to hit the team and coach Fernando Marchiori seeks the balance that led the team to the Copa Paulista title.

Under the command of Ricardo Catalá, Bernô intends to finally pack in the competition.

Mathematical Chances

Portuguese 39% | Draw 33% | Sao Bernardo FC 28%

XV de Piracicaba x Água Santa

Stadium: Barão da Serra Negra

Duel of leaders at Barão da Serra Negra! Playing at home, “Nhô Quim” has a full team against Sérgio Guedes's “Netuno”.

Mathematical Chances

XV de Piracicaba 43% | Draw 32% | Holy Water 25%

Audax x Sertãozinho

Stadium: Mayor José Liberatti

Two teams that have only one point in the competition and do a direct duel in the fight against relegation, a tie can leave both in Z2.

Audax kept Robélio Cavalinho as coach, while “Touro” bet on Thiago Oliveira's return in Rodrigo Fonseca's place.

Mathematical Chances

Audax 35% | Draw 32% | Sertãozinho 33%

Oeste x Red Bull Brasil

Stadium: Arena Barueri

With the rivals 100% facing each other in Piracicaba, the Oeste can end the round in the isolated leadership, but for that it has to bring down the young Red Bull Brasil team, which after a good initial sequence, ended up run over by Rio Claro.

Mathematical Chances

Oeste 54% | Draw 28% | Red Bull Brasil 18%
